No Disney+ app on tv

Have tried to activate free Disney+ but having been advised by the tv to upgrade my subscription managed to activate & install the app on my phone. However it has not appeared on the tv via Sky. Have restarted the box having checked the Internet connection to be good before & it's still connected. However still no Disney+ so the free upgrade isn't one at all. Going to have to give up as cannot find anything else I haven't tried!!

@MikeJ2504  You have posted on the sky+hd board which doesn't support apps

so if you have this hardware you won't be able to access Disney via your sky account

No Disney+

Thanks for the answer although I am not sure what hardware is being referred to. The Disney+ app was showing on my tv screen before I added it to my mobile but now it has disappeared altogether from the tv so really amm going to have to give up.

@MikeJ2504 the hardware referred to is Sky+ tv set top boxes. They can't host any apps - they're not equipped to do so. Do you have another type of Sky tv set top box? Sky Q or Stream perhaps?
