It's a Rev 10. It's working fine to control my panasonic TV but won't interact at all with the Box.
This question has been asked before but not satisfactorily answered.

Found this reply elsewhere.
Sky should have this up.
All Sky remotes have at least 8 different modes (HD have 12). Obviously standard remotes do not have the Sky+ function buttons but recordings can be played from the planner by highlighting and pressing "Select" twice and stopped by pressing "Backup" - no pause, FF, Rewind or Record buttons (but recordings can be set from pressing "record" on the box.
For most remotes Version 4 and later (white label inside battery cover)
1 Press "TV"
2 Press and hold "Select" and "Yellow" together until red led in remote end flashes twice (On HD remotes "Select" and "i" together) - if it doesn't flash twice then remote cannot be reprogrammed (clone or too old)
3 Press "0" to operate standard box, "1" for Sky+ and on HD remotes "2" for HD - remotes in Sky+ mode will normally control HD boxes as well
4 Press "Select" - red led should flash twice
5 Press "Sky" and away you go
Any remote in Sky+ mode will also operate HD boxes
For early standard remotes prior to version 4 (or no version number on label) at stage 2 press "Select" and "Blue" together AND at stage 3 press "2" to control Sky+ or HD boxes - (to return remote to operating standard boxes press "0" at this stage)

No that doesn't work. The fix i found elsewhere did.
Actually you DO, in fact, need to pair new remotes.

I'm afraid that's not true. I bought a Sky +HD remote for my Sky+ HD Box. It worked on the TV fine but didn't work on the Sky Box until I followed the instructions I posted above.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt's absolutely true. If a Sky+HD remote doesn't control a Sky+HD box, it's faulty, or an unauthorised copy.
I'm familiar with the programming sequence you posted and it's unnecessary for a genuine Sky+HD remote - which is why Sky don't offer it in their help guides.
It's only necessary to use the sequence to control a Sky+ or Sky Digibox with a Sky+HD remote.

Then someone should tell Ardos they are stocking fake Sky remotes.
Hopefully the info I posted helps the next person who comes on here and is just told over and over to turn the box off and on. Whoever it was on Digital Spy that helped me - thank you!

Well that's excellent for all you. This thread can be used for all the people who google "My Sky+HD remote is not working on box but is on TV" and getting zero helpful answers.
Here's the helpful answer rather than "It just works"
