My sky +hd box will not switch on. Gone through troubleshooting but still nothing

My sky + box will not switch on. I have changed batteries in the remote. I've contacted Ask Crew and gone through troubleshooting with them still nothing. The light remains on yellow all the time.

It has been nearly 6 years since I've had a Sky+HD box but if you're still having problems, try the advice in this link
