My sky + box keeps disconnecting from the internet

Why does my Sky + box keep disconnecting fromt he internet. I go on evry 2/3 weeks and I have to reconnect my broadband to my sky+ box.   All other features work on my TV like netflix, Amazon prime etc but it frustrating when sky  won't work.

Have you tried allocating a Static IP address to your Sky box? Google for instructions that work with your router

Sky support for Sky+HD and earlier systems has ended, you can still get support if you already have Sky Protect insurance otherwise you'll have to find your own 3rd party company to get support from at your own expense
