My remote won’t turn on my sky box, batteries are ok. Turned power supply on and off still a no go

My remote won't turn on my sky box, batteries are new. I've turned off the power and turned on again still no good.

Have you tried switching off your Sky box for at least 4 minutes?

That's NOT at least 4 minutes though 😞

Turning the box off quickly does not let the electricity drain fully so the box does not fully reset

You've been lucky this time but in future turn it off longer 🙂
