The cable between the dish and the box has broken, the metal clips at the end of the cable disintegrated and came out of the box and now can't go back in.
I wondered if it is worth repairing/replacing (if it can be repaired/replaced) or if an upgrade to Sky Q would be a good idea?

If you decide to upgrade to Sky Q, the installer will sort out the cabling at no additional cost.

Sky won't repair it unless you do upgrade to Sky Q. However, you can get an independent satellite engineer to repair it.
