Moved into flat not sure what Sky service I can get

Please bear with me Mum has sky plus for ages in her house but now moved into retirement complex with individual flats but communal sky dish. The sky dish we have discovered isn't working properly. I flagged this with retirement agents who are getting their engineers to fix it. Mum moved in at weekend had sky appointment to connect sky up. She was told when she arranged house move to chuck her sky plus box in bin and I presume she would be getting sky Q. However sky man couldn't find a working sky signal in her property. So this is when I questioned the retirement agent about sky. I also arranged for sky engineers to come to complex to check out the sky dish. The agents say that sky engineers can't tamper with dish. I asked what service can she expect to get when agent engineer repairs signal. They said sky plus. I said sky plus is pretty much obsolete. Sooooo What can I do. Mum had basic package with sport. She hasn't got her sky plus box anymore as she was told to chuck it away. Does the agent have any idea what they talking about. I would advise her to go glass or stream but she likes a box to record stuff and can't be sure what her bb strength is like. In meantime she is just waiting. But is frustrating as I can't get sensible answer out of anyone. Thanks for listening. Maybe we just have to wait to see what happens. If she does go stream or glass are there options for hd box for recording. Do you have to pay more monthly and is there set up costs Ta x

While things are being resolved try Sky's budget service NOWTV for Sky Entertainment and Sports or just Sports.

You can cancel anytime up to a week before the month to month renewal .... OR discounts are easily available for longer commitments 😉
