Loss of signal
The signal is constantly dropping out, today it's dropped out at least 12 times and it's frustrating
I've rebooted numerous times and have been and got a new hdmi cable and it's still happening
mits a sky+hd box

Re: Loss of signal
Signal, or satellite signal?
A message displaying ”no signal” tends to be generated from your TV and normally means your TV’s not seeing the Sky box on the relevant HDMI input.
If it's satellite signal then I'm afraid Sky no longer support Sky+ and Sky+HD set ups. You'll need to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense to check/repair/replace the dish/LNB if that's the problem.
If you have Sky Protect insurance through Domestic and General Insurance you can call them but a recent post on here stated they wouldn't send an engineer - but they did offer the customer £65 towards arranging one themselves.
The alternative is contacting Sky to upgrade to Sky Q or change to Glass / Stream.
