Loss of HD channels

Every two or three days I have to ring Sky and get them to send a signal to reactivate the HD channel ( WHY).

Clearly your Viewing Card loses the HD privelege which Sky has to reinstate. Why it does that, I don't know, but it might be something to do with Sky+ being an increasingly unsupported legacy product..

Something must be broken, have Sky suggested a new viewing card? Are you disconnecting the power for extended periods of time?

 

If your sky box is connected to the phone or broadband then you can perform a new install yourself that will stop the need to call Sky but this is only a work-a-round and will not fix the issue 😞
