I see Sky are doing a free 3 month trial of Lionsgate+ for the newer Sky platforms (Q/Glass/Stream)
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-TV/Sky-VIP-LIONSGATE-3-month-free-trial/ba-p/4371854
No mention of Sky+, unsurprisingly.
However this article https://www.cordbusters.co.uk/sky-lionsgate-plus-free/ also states:
"But wait, there’s more: as part of the promotional offer, Sky subscribers will have the opportunity to sample several of Lionsgate’s popular series, free of charge – without the need to even sign up.
These include the complete first seasons of Power Book II: Ghost from the Power Universe from Executive Producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, The Girlfriend Experience starring Riley Keough, and the complete first season of the global fan-favourite romantic saga, Outlander."
Which sounds more possible that they might be available to Sky+ customers also.
So I searched for the 3 series named above, "Power Book II", "The Girlfriend Experience" and "Outlander" and the first season of each does appear to be available to download, listed as LionsgatePlus content. I even downloaded the start of Outlander S1E1 in HD and it played ok (even though I don't have the HD pack).
However if I go into the 'Catch-up TV' section of the Sky+ user interface, there is no sign of Lionsgate+, unlike Peacock and Paramount+
So it seems the only way to find this content is to explicitly search for it by name.
If anyone else finds any other Lionsgate+ content available to Sky+ customers, please feel free to post here.
And if someone finds a way to search just Lionsgate+ content available on Sky+, that would be very useful to share.
Thanks.

Hi @caesarome
I'm not sure if you missed this part of my original posting:

So this isn't guesswork on my part, it is what I have literally just tested on my Sky+ box about 30 minutes ago - good news!
But, as I said after that in my original post - in the 'Catch-up TV' section of the Sky+ user interface, there is no sign of Lionsgate+, unlike Peacock and Paramount+, so it seems that Sky+ users can only find this extra content by searching for it by name.

I think you are misreading that, because to access the content on Sky Glass/Stream and Sky Q you would need to sign up but that article is saying selected content is available without doing this.

Hi @caesarome ,
I am unclear in what sense you think I have misread the cordbusters article?
The main chunk of the article, similarly to the Sky posting, is about accessing content via the Lionsgate+ app, which obviously won't be available to Sky+ customers within Sky+, and I am pretty certain isn't being offered in on special terms to Sky+ customers to access via any other route.
But that part of the article, which I quoted, talks about certain content being available without a Lionsgate+ subscription.
So for that content, there were two possibilities for Sky+ customers:
1) They still don't get it, or
2) They can get it (or some of it) via the download functionality which Sky+ offers.
I was hopeful that (2) might be the case, as Sky did this for Sky+ customers with Sky Cinema for some of the Paramount+ content.
And it seems like I was right to be hopeful, as the named content is available, but it is harder to find than the Paramount+ subset of content.
Does that help explain the situation better?
If your understanding is different, please expand, thanks.

Find out moreUnless I have misread what you are saying you are suggesting that because certain content can be viewed without signing up you are suggesting that this will be coming to Sky+ boxes but I somehow doubt this will be the case because as I have said this content will be available to those with Sky Q and Sky Stream without those needing to sign up.
I guess only time will tell so I am happy to be proved wrong !
