My grandson is 15 and is autistic. He is determined to watch his Sky on an old Sky+ HD box. I have Sky Q. Is it possible to use the Sky+ box as an extra room and be sent a new Sky+ HD viewing card to add to my subscription? He does not want just freeview on it.

Sky don't send out NEW viewing cards for Sky+, you would need a Sky Q mini box

You have never been able to have Sky Q and Sky+ subs at the same address

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Q (all issues will be fixed during a Sky Q install), Sky Glass and Sky Stream

Not possible for a number of reasons

Sky no longer offer Sky+HD subscriptions
you can't mix Sky+ and Sky Q
Sky won't send out a viewing card because of 1 and 2

@Custard2 Sky won't allow you to do this I'm afraid the only way would be to add a sky Q mini and multi screen to your account
