I've got sky sports but on the football I cannot access sky sports plus to watch other games

I have Sky sports but i can't get sky sports plus to watch other games even though i press the red button.

@rdcmason because the functionality is not available via sky plus boxes

you can still watch via the Sky Sports mobile app via mobile devices (phone and tablet ) but not pc laptop or Mac

There is NO red button feature on Sky Plus, you need to use the mobile app or move to another Sky TV service

If you already have a full Sky Sports subscription, you’re all set! Sky Sports+ will automatically be added to your current Sky experience on Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q,.

 It’s included in your TV and the Sky Sports mobile app if you have a full Sky Sports subscription.

Is this a recent change because until last week I could access the red button but now it is not working?

Thngs changed a few weeks ago when the football season started as what was previously available via the red button are now streamed over the internet to the Sports app on mobiles and tablets as well as Sky Q, Glass and Stream. 

If you have a Sky+ box then it isn't possible to access these streams I'm afraid

Please may I just check something else - If I get a SkyQ will I be able to access the red button even without Broadband or will I need Broadband to access it? I don't have braodband and up to last week I could access the red button.

@Bottomboat  you will need a broadband connection as the games are now streamed over the internet

ALL streamed content requires broadband

Sky Plus red button did not use streaming but extra channels via satellite, this has now changed as Sky are moving away from satellite slowly
