Then you cannot have a Sky Satellite TV subscription that works as they use a viewing card to tell the box which chanells you subscribe to and has the record/playback authority

 

Without a viewing card a Sky Satellite box is just a freesat box without the ability to record/playback

As @Annie+UK posted, all Sky subscription satellite boxes have a Viewing Card.
