I have sold my house and will be moving out on the 17th Nov, but am staying in rented accomodation for 2/3months until my new house is available. I will need to suspend my sky account for this period, but will then at a future date required reinstatement, without prejudice to my long service. Please advise.

thanks Alan

@TATSY  You would need to cancel fully as Sky won't suspend a service temporarily, once in new home you'll need to sign back up.

However ( as you've posted in the Sky+ forum) if you have Sky + when signing back up you'll most likely be encouraged to sign up to Sky Q.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

More than encouraged. I'd say Sky will not let you sign back up to Sky+HD under any circumstances if you cancel. (Actually there are circumstances, such as communal systems not set up for Sky Q). Obviously, if you are currently in a minimum term period, you wouldn't be able to cancel anyway.

So, @TATSY, if you want to keep Sky+HD going forward, you will have to keep the subscription active during your move.
