I have sky + HD so why this pesky red message

What more can I say that's not in the subject? I am so fed up of getting the message on a large red background when I play back many recordings. Such as Laura Kuensberg on Sunday, etc.

Are you recording the HD channels? 

 

You can blame the BBC for the overlay on the SD channels.

@Terry+PInnell  If you record BBC1 SD you will get this message, you won't if you record BBC1 HD, at some point the SD  channel will be removed leaving you with 2 options watch live or record in HD.

 

Recording in SD really isn't saving you any significant space.

 

As advised this is a BBC 1 SD message and not a message from Sky.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Thanks for the fast answers so far. 

I'll check again shortly if somehow I accidentally recorded SD. That would obviously explain it. But I'm pretty sure I did not do so, as I always want to view at HD quality.

I have now checked and it was indeed my fault. I had mistakenly selected the SD option for the series. Have now deleted and recorded HD.

In this context I'd add that setting Recordings remotely from the Sky+ or Sky Go apps will frequently select an SD version by default.
