my television scree says' your Sky+box isn't getting a satellite signal ,Press the yellow button to fix this issue.
I have tried this several times and I am not getting any progress.
I am sure it is necessary for an engineer to come and fix the issue.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you have Sky+, I'm afraid Sky are no longer providing engineer support, unless you have Sky Protect. If you don't have Sky Protect,, you would need to engage a local satellite installer to check your dish and cabling for you.
Alternatively, if you upgrade to Sky Q, your dish etc will be checked at no additional cost to you, as part of the Sky Q installation.

Search for a satellite installer in your local area
Contact Sky for pricing on the Sky Q upgrade

It's best to speak to Sky about your upgrade options. Tell them you don't want to pay any more each month. If there are any one-off setup charges, bear in mind that you won't have the engineer charges that you would otherwise have for sorting out the signal problem.
To find a local satellite installer search online, or via the Yellow Pages. By way of a guide to costs, Sky would in the past have charged you £65 for a callout.

Regarding SKY Q, although I know a lot of this is technical you may benefit from reading some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q
