I have a white sky tv box can i add a extra sky black tv box upstairs if so how

Can I add a black sky box to watch tv upstairs if I have a old white tv box downstairs,  if so how do I do this

I suspect your white Sky box is a legacy Sky+ box, and you might wish to be aware that it will be incapable of receiving Sky channels in the near future, when they switch to a different transponder. A Sky+HD box will continue,to work normally. 

 

To add a second box, you would first need it to be connected to a cable from your satellite dish. It will then receive the free to air channels, but you wpuld need a Sky Multiscreen subscription in order to receive any other channels you subscribe to. Unfortunately Sky no longer allow Multiscreen subscriptions for Sky+ equipment.
