I cannot turn my TV on as the blue light on the SKY box is going round continuously

I was watching a recorded programme and the tv just turned itself off. The blue light on the SKY BOX IS ON CONTINUOUSLY

Do you have a Sky Plus box?

There could have been a power spike

Have you tried restarting your Sky box by switching off at the plug for 4 minutes?

@Jonkan  If this is a Blue Circle on the front of your Sky box then you have Sky Q not Sky +
