I can’t access search for channels 4&5

I can't download older programmes for channels 4&5 either through the " search" box or on catchup. It fails to record

What's the failure reason given on screen, if you highlight one of the recordings in your Planner and press i on your remote?

When I try to catch up anything on channels 4 or 5 , I highlight the episode/ programme I want, then it tries to record, comes back saying failed need upgrade for this service but is ok for bbc and itv

Are you trying to Download the HD versions of programmes without having the HD subscription?

The HD additional subscription is required for Channels 4 & 5 but not for BBC or ITV

I believe, in their wisdom, Channel 5 have decreed that you must have the HD add-on to be able to use Catchup on My5. I assume you don't have it, hence the error message. I can only guess that C4 have gone the same way.
