You have posted on the Sky+ board. Sky no longer support Sky+ and Sky+HD so won't send an engineer. If you have Sky Protest through Domestic and General Insurance you can call them otherwise you'll need to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense (or upgrade to Sky Q or change to Glass / Stream). 

Wanting an engineer visit doesn't fit in with your thread title though.

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream

Sky support for Sky+HD and earlier systems has ended, you can still get support if you already have Sky Protect insurance otherwise you'll have to find your own 3rd party company to get support from at your own expense

I'm not sure what paying your bill this morning has to do with either

a) waiting for a new viewing card or

b) wanting an engineer

Look up normally  sky people.on vans have exta spare are card

Sky won't send a very busy engineer to hand you a viewing card. They send them out in the post. Out of interest, why do you need a new viewing card?

As you are awaiting a new card your existing card will have been cancelled so your only course of action is to wait patiently for the replacement
