How to view lost sky+ recordings,?! I agreed to Q.
I seriously think something should be done about this!
i have been a loyal subscriber for over 20 years, ± now there is no way to view my sky+ box since I got skyQ.
Really, what???
Get this... I put my card in the old silver&blackSKY+ box in living room, pair card, worked fine, & then take card upstairs to old box. Pair that ,it worked. Then got Qbox & now I'm told that I can't even watch/veiw anything (hahaha CatchUp! ) I've recorded.
Not even by having 2 accounts/card s on me , it's the same address!
It is possible, something needs to be done_

When you changed to Sky Q then you can no longer access content via the Sky+ box as the part on the dish called the LNB is changed for your Q box.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

You can't have 2 TV subscriptions at the same address if that's what you're thinking you should be able to do.

@NOTON-knows simply Sky don't allow you to have both Sky+ and Sky Q subscriptions at the same time at the same address. That's been the case since Sky Q was released 10 years or so ago. I doubt anything will be done about it now.

What you've experienced is behaviour as designed, and has been that way since Q was launched in early 2016. It's logically consistent because hard drive playback is a subscription function and once Sky Q is in place there's no longer a subscription for Sky+ at the address: unfortunately that doesn't mean it's not an unpleasant surprise.
