How to add existing Discovery+ account to Sky+

I have Sky+ (not SkyQ) and have just upgraded to include TNT Sports.  I have an existing Discovery+ account from when I used to get TNT via BT.  I want to link the two, so that I can use the Discovery+ app but all the instructions online are about SKYQ/Glass etc.

How do I add the Discovery+ account to my Sky+ account?

Sky Plus can only access Discovery+ content that they publish in the on demand section, your Sky Box has no ability to run apps

Disney+ isn't available to Sky+ subscribers, I'm afraid,  which is why it's not included in the online instructions.

The point stil stands though @BrianDilley  as Sky+ boxes are not capable of running apps like Discovery+ one and others from the likes of Disney and Netflix.

Turns out I can't link the accounts but TNT Sports appears on my Sky Go so that is sufficient for me, thanks all.

I'm always writing the wrong one! As @caesarome posted, and you've since discovered, the same applies to both.

I can't do it. It keeps asking me to scan the symbol on my SkyQ box.
