How do I connect my Sky+HD box to my broadband router using WiFi? I cannot access catch up etc

I have a message on my screen saying I cannot access Catch Up or other facilities on my Sky+HD box without connecting to my broadband. How do I do this preferably using WiFi as the router is too far away to use a cable.

Yes my box does have a WPS button. What do I now do?

That's good news, as it means your Sky box has wifi capability, as @TimmyBGood posted. All you need to do is press the WPS button on your Sky box and then within 30 seconds press the WPS button on your broadband router (if it's a Sky router, it may be on the side). Providing your router and Sky box are within wifi range, it will connect automatically after a minute or so.

Does your Sky box have a 'WPS' button on the front panel?

As @Mark39 indicates, if the Sky box has a WPS button then that indicates it has built-in WiFi.

If it doesn't then extra hardware (a 'Sky Mini Connector') is required and you'd have to source that second-hand because Sky no longer supplies such things.
