How do I connect Home cinema to sky box

Got a new smart tv and surround sound system, how do I connect it to Sky box

box is connected to tv through hdmi cable but I'm not getting the souround sound

Which one?, as I posted above there are 3 different boxes

@DJrock if your home cinema has an HDMI input connection (most modern HCs do), connect an HDMI cable from your Sky box to it, and a second HDMI cable from the HC's HDMI output to your TV.

Connect your TV to the soundbar with a high speed HDMI cable using the eARC HDMI ports on both the TV and the soundbar. 

Connect your Sky box to any other HDMI port on the TV with an HDMI cable. 

Change the audio output settings on the Sky box to Dolby Digital+.

Make sure the audio output on the TV is set to eARC. This will send the audio from the TV, and from any device attached to your TV, to your soundbar.

@DJrock Note it will just be Dolby Digital (not+) on a SKY Plus box

The option to use eARC for the sound quite likely won't specifically mention eARC but may just be like my Panasonic option for Speaker Selection  of 'Home Cinema' (the other option being TV)

Perhaps worth noting that by staying with Sky+ HD you are feeding £1500 pounds-worth of 2025-vintage UHD video and Atmos audio kit with a £50* source device from 2015 which supports neither of those standards...

*probably rather generous now viewing cards can't be transferred ; )
