Hi i have a sky + hd box and today it just shows green screen. I wish to have this resolved please

My sky+ hd box isn't working,  we have sky glass TV and screen is green,  we tried to reset and plugged off but nothing is working.

Important to be aware that Sky+ HD hardware hasn't been manufactured since 2015, and the answer from Sky will almost certainly be to 'upgrade' to Sky Q.

You can attempt to get them to despatch an installer to check out your current system, but they are likely not to wish to do so.  You can also consider purchasing a DRX895W or DRX895WL for about £30 on eBay.

@Munchkin+2013 how did you reset the box? Best to switch it off at the plug for at least 4 minutes.

Switch your Glass TV off at the plug too, for a minute.

Note that if you have a subscription on Sky Glass, it's expected that a Sky+ HD box will only function for basic Freesat reception.
