Help tuning new Sky+HD Rev.10 remote to control Blaupunkt TV

Hi all,

I’m trying to set up a new Sky+HD remote (Rev.10) for my grandmother so that she can control her TV using just one remote. She previously had a Sky+HD box and remote that worked fine, but the buttons were sticking, so we bought a new Rev.10 remote from Amazon. The listing had good reviews and stated it was genuine – it doesn't seem to be a knock-off.

Her TV is a Blaupunkt 1330 40". With the old remote, she could control the volume, power, etc., but with this new one, I haven’t been able to get it to work with the TV. I’ve tried the Blaupunkt codes, and even Sony and Panasonic ones, but none have worked so far.

It can’t be the TV itself, as she does still have an old Sky remote that controls it fine – so I'm confident it's just a code issue with the new remote.

Has anyone had success getting a Rev.10 Sky+HD remote to work with a Blaupunkt 1330 TV? Are there any alternative codes to try or a trick to get this to work? Also, does Sky still send out original remotes if needed?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

@shannon2803 If she still has the old remote there is a way to find out what code was programmed into it.

I can't remember, unfortunately, how to do it, but I'll tag @Mark39 who might have the details.

Thanks @oj01. Unfortunately I've forgotten now how to carry out the 'blink back' procedure which you use to retrieve details of the code stored in the remote,  and so far I've not been able to find it again online. I'll keep trying....
