Failed recording and live pause.

Yesterday I tried to record a programme on live tv. When I checked it had not recorded. Then I realised the live pause was not working either. When I press the Failed message on the recording it says Technical fault. When I press live pause a message appears telling me Live Pause is not available and to call broadcaster for assistance. Anyone have the right number to call?

If you call Sky they will insist that you upgrade to a Sky Q box as they do not maintain Sky+ boxes so have you tried a planner rebuild:

 

Press Services on your remote

Select Help

Select Sky+ Rebuild


This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something. Your recordings and downloads are safe when doing this.
