Eurosport cutting short recordings

I've become increasingly frustrated when setting recordings on Eurosport.. recently the world superbike had delays but the overrun was not recorded, and today two separate snooker recordings stopped before the end, for no good reason... This doesn't seem to happen on other channels but Eurosport is hopeless for successfully recording a whole programme. Not much use if you aren't in... What's the point of setting a record if you know it's going to stop before the end?!

Just set additional padding at the end of yhe programme  or record the next programme as well, Or set a manual recording to run longer than the scheduled end time.

I have thought about putting a record on subsequent programmes incase this happens, but why should I?!.. say I've got limited disc space or have other recordings on the go, I don't want to potentially mess up other recordings while recording several hours of cycling or something else that I have no interest in watching? For the amount I have to pay I would expect this issue to have been addressed by now, it's been a frequent problem with sky, trying to record Eurosport programmes for god knows how long.

Why should you? Because you're complaining about missing the end of their programmes.

Failing that, complain to Eurosport. They're in control of their scheduling, not Sky.

It's been like this for years. The amount of snooker matches I've missed the end of is infuriating so I have to remember to record extra programmes in case it runs on.
