I have been told today (2/5/23) that I will need to return my Sky+ box if I cancel my TV package. Is this correct?

If you're outside your initial contract term then the box is yours and need not be returned to Sky

@luckybeebee the only exception is if returning your Sky+ box is part of an upgrade deal to Sky Q or Glass/Stream.
