Do I have to plug my arial into the sky box?
I am in the middle of living room renovations and want to build a media wall, is there a box I could use that doesn't need the to arial plugged in? I don't really want to have to run the to arial across the room as it would be visible in places. I currently have a sky plus box

By aerial I presume you mean the connection to your Sky dish, if so then yes this has to be connected otherwise you will have no TV.

@Michelle64 The alternative would be to switch to Sky Stream, which works via your broadband rather than a satellite dish. Do your research into it though as it is very different to Sky+HD.

Re: Do I have to plug my arial into the sky box?
As @caesarome indicates, Sky+ is a satellite television platform and all boxes require a dish feed cable. For Sky Q the main box needs such a feed, but Q Mini boxes do not: some users take advantage of this feature , but it does mean not having UHD output. For no satellite dish you'd need to look at Sky Stream (and have a decent internet connection)
