Channel 4

I'm trying to watch Gogglebox (don't judge me) (SD) - but my Sky box refuses to acknowledge Channel 4 SD exists aand keeps telling me to upgrade in order to watch it. Can anyone help please? Thank you.

If this is from On Demand do you subscribe to the Sky Signature package ?

Erm - I don't know! I tried recording it but the same thing happens when I try to watch the recordings. I have not had this problem before.

How are you trying to watch this, from the TV Guide or are you searching for it ?

In the TV guide, by searching, and from my recordings. It appears that Gogglebox is suddenly only available on HD. To quote from Airplane: [removed]

I just checked and yes I have Sky Signature.

Gogglebox is both on Channel 4 SD and is also on SD channels like 4Seven plus it is available via on demand in SD so if you don't subscribe to the HD package the there are plenty of episodes than you should be able to access in SD.

I thought this too - but it only appears available to me in HD. Can anyone help please?

Have you tried going via the Catchup or Boxsets menus and find the episodes you want this way as there is always more than one way to find content like this. When in the Catchup or Boxset menu select Channels > Channel 4 and then see if you can find what you are looking for.

Is your default download in the customise menu on page 2 set to SD ?

It is HD, but when I go to download something which is also available in SD I can download SD programmes by selecting "all formats". Maybe Channel 4 is an exception?

What is the series and episode number so I can check my box to see if I see the same.

I think it's Series 19 now - episodes 1-4 thusfar. Thanks for your help!

Series 19 episodes 1- 4 are there for me in SD as I have found them by searching for them and then pressing select to bring up the episodes on each one in turn.
