I have now contacted SKY customer service as my SkyGo also stopped allowing downloads.

They told me that they are now stopping SKY+ HD customers from accesssing this feature on SkyGo and on their tvs as a way to push them to swap to SkyQ.

 

I called a second time and was told the same by a different advisor.

 

Its rolling out so will be coming to you soon !

It helps to verify such things: while we know Sky is certainly seeking to migrate the remaining users of Sky+ HD to a current platform, we've had no indication they are withdrawing data transfer into Sky Go.
