Hi
i have done this a few times before without any issues
card will not pair with box states go to sky.com/quick fix
when trying to access website it states I have no permission to access on this server
tried via my phone as well with same issue, problem at sky ?

Looking for help, trying to pair my sky card to a new box, keep getting the error below when accesing sky.com/quickfix
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "www.sky.com /mysky/tv/card-pairing" on this server.

Reset router , even tried my mobile to register card, but get the same error

Try that. If it doesn't work, try your browser,in privacy/incognito mode.

@phil+ipod it must be down at the moment then someone else had the same problem I advised them to phone sky and get it paired over the phone I would use this number 0333 759 4776 and say tv technical when asked the reason for your call

Takes me to the sky page which I can get too with quick fix, same error tho on clicking link
access is denied on this server you have no permission

Make sure your Sky viewing card is correctly inserted into the box.
Press Services on your Sky remote
Press 0, 0, 1, Select (setup should now be highlighted)
Scroll across to New Install
Press Select twice

I have bought a sky second hand Sky plus box and the card need fixing. I only changed from my old original sky box as the new box is supposed to be able to record programs. So far it is no better than the old one, if not worse. The instruction says go to sky.com/quickfix but I get no informating only a report that I have been to this site before.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Micky+not+Fynn I'm guessing you're moving from a non-Sky+ to a Sky+ box, if so then you'll most likely need to phone sky to have the Sky+ features activated on your card

All subscriptions include Sky+ features but if you have an old box that does not have Sky+ then it is not activated on the card as there would be no point

Yes, however, previous experience here suggests that if you're swapping the Viewing Card from a non-recording Digibox to a Sky+ box, the entitlement has to be independently added.
We can probably conclude from that, that although the Plus features are part of the Signature package, that entitlement isn't propagated to the Viewing Card along with the other viewing entitlements on the package.
