Can’t pair my sky+ remote to sharp tv

I have tried all the codes and my model of sharp an Aquos does appear on the list but won't pair. Just bought a new sky+ remote, any suggestions. Thanks

Many Sharp TVs use an RF remote, not infra red, which isn't compatible with Sky's infra red remote. If you tell us the exact model of your Sharp, we'll be able to tell you if yours is one that's not compatible.

Sounds like a Sky Q remote. You've posted in the Sky+ forum.

The process for programming a Sky Q remote is different. On your Sky box, go to Settings then Setup and remote control and follow the instructions there,

First - is the TV remote an RF remote, rather than IR? If you don't know, fully cover the end of the remote that you would point at the TV with your hand, and see if it still controls the TV. If it does, it's an RF remote, and your Sky remote isn't compatible with your TV.

It's for the same reason posted earlier - your TV uses an RF remote, not the infra red type that just about every other manufacturer uses. Consequently it's not compatible, with a Sky remote and there's no code that will work.
