Can’t connect new sky hd remote to sky box

I've got a new sky +hd remote as the select button on my previous remote isn't working. I've managed to sync so it can control volume and power on TV but nothing else- any help appreciated!

You could have most likely fixed your old remote by taking it apart (1 screw) and cleaning the PCB and rubber button pad, my FAQ has instructions 🙂

@JSp1970 @Is it a Sky+HD box that you have, or an older box? A Sky+HD remote should control a Sky+HD box without changing anything

It's a sky +HD box

I have this same issue but with a sky digibox (non-recording) would you have any suggestions for this? ☺️ thanks

@Fayod a Sky+HD remote can be configured to control non-recording digiboxes by doing the following:

1 Press "TV"
2 Press and hold "Select" and "i" together until the red LED flashes twice 
3 Press "0" to operate a standard digibox box
4 Press "Select" - the red LED should flash twice
5 Press "Sky"
