Clarification please.
You cannot download FROM any Sky box, you download TO a Sky box.
Do you mean,
1. download (Swap) previously recorded programmes from your main box to your spare in the caravan?
- no. You could theoretically swap the hard drives but it's not a 2 minute job, and no guarantee of the card re-pair to the new box allowing recordings to work.
2. Access on-demand on the second box and download?
- once paired and connected to broadband, yes you can, but as soon as you take the card home, the recordings will not be viewable.
3. View downloaded content on your Sky box via internet?
- no. The Sky box (assuming you don't have Sky stream) needs to have a satellite dish correctly aimed, even to view previously recoded stuff.
