Can Sky HD+ get Discovery+ free?

Discovery+ appears to be free for users able to access Sky Marketplace from their TV. It doesn't look like the same benefit is available for Sky HD+ customers? If not why not?

Sky+ customers don't have the ability to run apps on their Sky box thus Discovery+ is not available to them

@Angel2019 Sky+hd can't get it because it doesn't have the compatibility to support apps

That is just a technical reason. Surely if Sky have an agreement with Discovery for customers to use their product they should be able to roll that out to all customers whether that be through discount codes etc

Sky have made Paramount Plus content (a streaming channel) available on HD+ boxes through Sky Cinema. 

There is no technical reason why they couldn't do the same with Discovery Plus content.

I really wouldn't know, as I'm not a Sky technician. 

Perhaps Disney says no.
