Can I get my Sky + box to change channel automatically?
My mum has dementia and is now struggling to operate her Sky TV as she gets confused with the remote. Is there any way I could set her Sky+ HD box to automatically change channels at certain times so she can still watch her favourite programmes without getting stressed? I live 10 mins from her but it's difficult having to go round all the time to change the channel, so I need a way to do this from my house or set the box to charge automatically if possible. Thanks.
Nothing new will be implemented on what is now a legacy product no longer supported by Sky.

Ironically it used to be possible on ancient non-recording digiboxes, deemed necessary then to automatically switch channel so that a separate VCR could be programmed to record in advance when no-one was in attendance.
When Sky+ boxes with built-in recording functionality were introduced the feature became obsolete.
