Can I connect my sky+ box to my smart TVs by av socket

My new tv has an av socket can  I connect my sky+ box by this instead of scart which my tv doesn't have

Possibly. Does your new tv have yellow, red and white/black input phono (aka RCA) sockets?

Not entirely sure from the picture tbh. If you can post the tv make and model, it might be possible to find an online spec for it to clarify.

I think that's component-video-in plus L/R audio (similar panel below)  Possibly the green/yellow is intended to indicate that socket also does composite-video-in by itself.

@sasa72 Yes, I think @TimmyBGood is right - in which case you can connect your Sky box using those sockets: yellow to green/yellow, red to red and white to white.
