Being asked to upgrade my package when I am in contract

I am now receiving a message to ask me to upgrade my Sky TV package to access lots of channels when I am in the middle of a 24 month contract

Hi. I had to upgrade to Sky Q. New viewing card supplied.

@SRCross The viewing entitlements stored on your Viewing Card need to be refreshed. You can do that either by carrying out a New Install (providing your Sky box is connected to the Internet) or by giving Sky a call.

 

Previous forum posts suggests that this may become a recurring problem.
