BBC catchup showing wales / scotland / NI and NOT England

Hi, when I go to BBC catchup to find a programme, I am only shown options for programmes from BBC Wales, BBC Scotland or BBC NI and nothing from BBC England / BBC London.

I spoke to someone on the "helpline" who was apparently a techie but they were unable to help. I cannot see anywhere on the TV menus to change my region. The only place I can see is on the SKY+ app and I am set to BBC London.

Anyone have any suggestions?

The programmes are largely the same regardless of region

Are the programmes you want to watch available?  If not then email viewerR@sky.uk (Viewer Relations Team)

Do you have access to BBC iPlayer on any device - you probably can find region specific content that way.

What programs are you looking for ?

The BBC iPlayer catch up section on Sky (and the BBC iPlayer app on all platforms) has dedicated sections for Scotland, Wales and N Ireland for programmes shown in those countries. As the BBC doesn't really have England-only programmes there is no need for an England section. Which programme(s) are you looking for?

@nikky It's been like this for a while on Sky+HD, but as others have said, shouldn't have any baring on being able to find the programme you're looking for.

Sky+HD doesn't have iPlayer, just a general BBC Catch Up section.

Thanks for the responses. I was trying to find something that was shown on the local news and noticed that the catch up wasn't there. Then realised that all the shows were non England.

Have you looked at Catchup > BBC > Channels > Regional as I can then see content from the local news from across the UK.
