Asking me to pair my viewing card

Has this just started to happen or are you trying to use a new viewing card in your Sky+ box ?

Thanks for replying, I have been doing some decorating so my Sky was off for about 6 weeks... I have spoken to Sky who are going to send me a new card

You did not need a new card, you would have been able to pair the existing one via a New Install or Sky over the phone, the satellites send a keep alive signal to the card every now and then but if the box is powered off for extended periods the signal is missed and the card auto de-pairs

Don't bother your existing card is canceled when a new one is ordered
