Have you logged into the app with your sky username and ID and if you have how long have you been a Sky customer ?

If it is showing on the homepage then pretty much all you can do is to report it to Sky so they can look into it at their end:

Can you see the VIP tile in the My Sky app, if so what happens when you select it ?

Right we are finally getting somewhere, what phone do you have and what operating system is it running ?

According to Amazon it is running Andriod 4.1, you can check this yourself via Settings > About Phone > Software Info.
If that is the case I think you have to be running Andriod 5.0 or above before being able to install the app on your phone.

All you can do is to check that there is any software updates for it via Settings > About Phone > Update Center > Software Update > Check now for update. If there is then install it and if it is 5.0 or above then you should then be able to install the app.
