Sky and the DP World Tour have today teed up a four-year partnership extension that will see Sky Sports remain the home of the Ryder Cup and DP World Tour until at least the end of 2029 in the UK & Ireland.
This new deal is a real hole-in-one for golf fans, starting from 2026 and ensuring Sky Sports exclusively broadcasts the next two majestic matchups of golf’s most iconic team competition, the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, Ireland and the 2029 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine, USA. That’s two more chances to watch Europe and the USA go club to club in a transatlantic turf war.
Under the new agreement, Sky Sports viewers can continue to enjoy un-fore-gettable coverage of the DP World Tour’s globe-trotting schedule, which will swing through 25 countries in 2026. That includes five Rolex Series events that are sure to be the driving force of the season: the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Genesis Scottish Open, BMW PGA Championship, Abu Dhabi Championship, and the DP World Tour Championship.
With this extension, Sky Sports is clearly on par with fans’ expectations, delivering every birdie, bogey, and back-nine battle straight to their screens. It’s safe to say, the future of Sky Sports Golf is looking above par in the best way possible.
