No, we do not offer a SWAP option for Sky Glass. All customers with a Sky Glass Gen 2 purchasing a Sky Glass Air TV out of a cooling-off period will still need to buy the Sky Glass Air separately.

I'm sorry, but this comparison is very misleading. 

What does 'True HDR' mean? How does it differ to 'Advanced HDR'? The latter is actually a term owned by Technicolor and probably shouldn't be being used by Sky. 

You don't list the actual HDR formats each TV is compatible with, which would be useful information for a potential customer. 

You don't mention that Glass Gen 2 is also 60Hz.

You don't mention that Glass Air has global dimming as opposed to Glass Gen 2's local dimming. 

I understand that you want to keep things simple but please, make your comparisons factually accurate and do not confuse potential customers.

  @BenJoBanjo, maybe the chart has been edited since you posted, maybe it hasn't ( although there's no sign of an edit ). But it does mention that Glass Gen 2 is also 60Hz, and it also mentions that Glass Air has global dimming as opposed to Glass Gen 2's local dimming.  There is mention of " Actual HDR formats " as well, it says " Dolby Vision®, HDR10, HLG " for both the Air & the Gen 2. Check the first chart with the heading " Display ".

  As for True HDR, here is an AI Overview answer: True HDR (High Dynamic Range) on TVs means the display can accurately reproduce a wider range of brightness and colors, resulting in a more realistic and vibrant picture. It's more than just "HDR," which refers to a general concept, and it often involves specific technologies like local dimming and high peak brightness.

Question : If you attach an external Dolby Atmos sound bar to Earc will Sky Glass Air deliver atmos surround sound to speakers

It's a very good question. Unfortunately Sky don't make this very clear in the limited tech specs shown above. All they mention is Dolby Audio which is very non-specific. 

One would assume that if a customer pays for the UHD/Atmos pack as part of their streaming TV subscription, then the Glass Air should be able to passthrough Atmos on appropriate Sky content to an external Atmos-capable soundbar via eARC. 

One would also assume that any external device connected to a Glass Air TV via HDMI which sends a Dolby Atmos signal, should be able to pass this audio through via eARC to a suitable soundbar.

Some clarification would be useful both from Sky and also from any Glass Air owners.

Don't bother. You cannot use the wi-fi and you have to run an Ethernet cable, or so people say, or your tv will just fail and you have to unplug it and restart. Great when your are watching live tv😡

Sky glass has very recently developed streaming issues. Need to reset the tv each time that you want to change channel. Has there been a background update done? Is this getting fixed and when. Not fit for purpose. May have to cancel and go to Virgin.
