so i added some movies to my playlist that were being aired on channel 4 and legend, when i came to watch them it took me to sky store, what is going on with that ? i do not want sky movies but was under the impression that films being aired on channels like ch 4, ch 5 legend ect could be added to your playlist apparently not anymore ?

so for the films you added the broadcaster would have only brought as live rights meaning that you had to watch live or not at all

Find out more@prodigy2015 This could be down to what rights the channels have,some have the rights to live broadcast only and some have live broadcast and streaming rights.If this is the case then sky stream/glass will point you to which ever app/broadcaster has the streaming rights.

Find out moreSome films are available on multiple on-.fand apps and the default tends to be Sky store or Sky cinema if the film is available on that platform. Open the film on the playlist scroll down to available now and it will display all the on-demand platforms the film is available on that way if it's on multiple platform you will be able to select the platform you have to watch the film.
Ad others have indicated channel 4 don't have the on-demand rights for every film they show.

Streaming rights change for individual movies, depending on the studio which owns them.
Just because one film on Channel 4 was allowed to be playlisted doesn't mean all of them can be.
