"Watch from the beginning" is a joke.
I turned on the skystream park at 21:15 last night and switched to Sky News. As I did so, I was offered the option of watching from the beginning. So I did this. I was there for watching approximately 15 minutes behind real time. But, at 21:30, when the program that I was watching had essentially stopped, I was switched to live broadcast. So what is the point of watching from the beginning if when the program essentially ends your disconnected from the program anyway which means that you cannot see the whole program.
This has also just happened to me whilst watching sky crime HD. I also subscribe to the no adverts option so when watching in catch up mode, if you then try and fast forward through the adverts after the program has stopped comment your informed that you cannot do that and you are immediately taken to live TV as of now.
The software really hasn't been thought through properly and is in fact a joke quite frankly. I have been using pvrs for over 20 years and have never had these kind of issues. There is no point in offering the use of the ability to watch programming catch up mode if they're unable to complete watching the program to the very end.
And to think that, unlike a PVR, I'm paying money for this every day!

Re: "Watch from the beginning" is a joke.
It has been like this for a while and is one of the main reasons we now don't use the start from beginning option. It's a right pain in the backside when it kicks you out back into live broadcasts. Hopefully Sky have it as a bug and it's on their radar to fix.
Maybe someone can confirm?

Let's hope so - this is very buggy for something that you have to pay for.
Come on Sky, get your finger out!!
