going to be moving house in a few weeks

hi - probably a bit of a daft question down to me be an old cynic 🙂

I know sky stream, like everyone else, is paranoid about people watching the same subscription in more than one location.

We're going to be moving in a few weeks time but our existing stuff has stopped and although we would live without it, we thought well we could just get it now and then just move with it in a few weeks. That way we don't miss out on a few weeks.

My concern is that they'll see a change of IP address being connected from pretty quickly (BUT all the pucks will of course always be accessing from the same ip. Current place now, then new place in 3/4 weeks)

I could, get all the kit delivered to the new place so the address on the account is right for the long term, then, without using them there, bring them back here, use them here for a few weeks and then take them to the new place?

I could get all the kit delivered to the current place, then do an address change in 3/4 weeks?

It probably doesn't matter and Im overthinking it. It can't matter THAT much with dynamic IP Addresses people will be coming from different ip addresses at the same house every so often anyway. Logic suggests that sky systems would be looking more for pucks coming from different ip addresses at the same time, or very frequent changes...

...but then past experience with sky suggests that logic doesn't always apply 😉

That does appear to be the case, yes: I suspect you needn't worry.
