Would like to get a 2nd puck to connect to a tv in another room - but it's not a smart tv. Will the puck work?

@Molie16 Your latest post has been merged to your previous thread as the reply you posted makes no sense on it's own, you also didn't need to create a seperate thread for the follow-up question.
If you have 2 or more pucks you need the whole home subscription, without it the additional puck(s) will not work. The Whole home sub covers for up to 3 Glass TV's & 6 pucks under the one account
43" Glass TV & Puck Whole Home
Please note I only provide help on the main forums and not via PM, PM's are switched off.
Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, EE FTTC Broadband, Three 5G Broadband (Backup), Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.

Can I add another Sky Stream Puck without a Whole Home subscription?
I would like to use an additional Puck with a non-smart TV in another room to make it smart.
I've tried it and it works. Thanks for your help with that.
But I don't need or want a subscription to Whole Home.
Is this do-able? I've been online for ages with someone trying to sell me the subscription.
There's a big difference between a one-off £39.99 and a £96 per year subscription!
