Why can't I play from the start of F1 Canada on the F1 channel

We have F1 in the playlist but tonights F1 has been saved on the main event channel which is showing the cricket. Even when I go to the channel and press play from the start it go back to the main event channel. When it finally does show f1 it's half way through the second session. Not impressed that I pay for the whole sport package just to watch F1 and now I can't even do that

I can only assume that you added it to the playlist from Sky Sports Main Event in that case.

My cloud recording was from Sky Sports F1 channel, occasionally the sessions do appear to get recorded from Main Event but that is only when the entire session is scheduled to be broadcast on Main Event in full, when the schedule has them going to the F1 on Main Event in the middle of a race or session the recording for me has always happened from the Sky Sports F1 channel.

What I'd suggest you do is remove the " Live F1" from your playlist then in the EPG go to one of the Live Race sessions (the build up, the race or the post race show) and add ONE of them to your playlist. That should then playlist the Live F1 sessions to your playlist from Sky Sports F1.

I got mine from the F1 section on sky stream not playlist and have the same issue

Same happens today when I go to the F1 hd channel before the start of the race and select watch from the start it takes me to the main event channel showing the cricket 😖

@MrH2 sounds like Sky set it up incorrectly mistakes do happen. If you have a second report it to Sky's Viewer Relations team who can feed it back - the address is viewerR@sky.uk
